Last week we gave you an inside look into a charming, shabby chic nursery. Since then, we’ve been anxious to give you the grand tour of Brant’s nursery.
First-time mom and dad, Cortnee and Matt welcomed us into their home to photograph their baby boy’s nursery. Matt serves as a builder for our construction team, and we love how his talents and mom’s creativity came together to create the perfect woodland-themed nursery. Have a look!
Stained raw wood with a variety of blue, grey and cream colors create a cool and calming atmosphere in this baby-boy nursery.
Six-inch ceder fence pickets were cut into different sizes and pieced together to create this wood backdrop. The wood was painted with watered down paints to create a stained look.
This shelving collage is a perfect DIY project for a large, white wall. Small stuffed animals and figurines were displayed to bring the woodland-theme to life.
Grow baby, grow! This arrow-shaped growth chart and wooden wall decor was made by Brant’s grandma (or “honey”, as she likes to be called). The decor is made from distressed and stained lumber. The numbers, words and shapes are vinyl letters that were adhered to the wood once dry.
This cozy bedroom corner, complete with a recliner and night stand, is great for late night feedings and snuggle time.
A sweet and soft moose, bear and elephant make the best crib buddies for a perfect baby boy.
Thanks for showing us around Cortnee and Matt. We love Brant’s DIY nursery and look forward to watching him grow.
