Summer Patio Decor Pt. 2

It’s the first day of September and we are already thrilled about the return of the Pumpkin Spice Latte and cooler mornings! But before we dive into fall, we wanted to leave you with one more amazing patio before the end of summer.

Joey and his wife, Briar, are homeowners in Lubbock and live in a 2,500 sq. ft. Betenbough home. They’ve transformed their back patio and we know you’ll be as impressed and inspired as were!

Joey extended his patio and created a seamless expansion by using the same brick and stone that was used on his home’s exterior. He also added a fireplace, which was installed by Fireplaces Unlimited.

Joey got creative and mounted a homemade table top he and his wife found on Trading Up, onto an electrical spool his dad had out on his farm!

Greenery and candles serve as the perfect table accent.
A gothic style screen and black lanterns add a beautiful contrast against the light stone.

The outdoor couch was purchased from Nebraska Furniture Mart in The Colony.

He enlisted a few professionals to frame the porch, do the electrical work and pour concrete. However, Joey put a lot of work in himself, including setting the windows, custom building doors for a fireplace tool storage space, installing the wood ceiling and more.

The ceiling features 8-foot cedar fence pickets and adds the perfect rustic touch.

Wow, Joey and Briar have created a gorgeous outdoor space for their family and friends. We can’t wait to come over!
