Attend a Betenbough Homes family event with team members and their families and find Holly with a baby in her arms. Children hold a soft spot in Holly’s heart, which is why she wanted to be a child psychologist growing up. After graduating from Texas Tech University, Holly pursued a career in child development, but God had other plans.
When Ron and Rick Betenbough decided to give the company’s profits to ministries (watch the Believe video to learn more), Holly dedicated herself to the decision as well. Throughout the years spent giving, she has developed relationships with worldwide ministries. Holly says the relationships have provided more mentors and blessings than she ever imagined having.
In addition to her role on the Ministry team, Holly is a member of the model home design team. Holly has created cozy atmospheres for 20 model homes, and her favorite part of the design process is putting on the finishing touches and seeing the home come together.

Favorite Betenbough Homes Floor Plan
I had the privilege of decorating a Shari model home in Midland, and I fell in love with the openness of the plan. Since it’s just Rick and I at home now, I found myself picturing us in it and thinking we could just move right in!
Most People Don’t Know
I am shy in large groups of people. I love people, but I’m most comfortable one-on-one.
Favorite Biblical Person
I admire David. I can relate to his humanness and admire the fact that he was a “man after God’s own heart”. I love that in the end, he did what was pleasing in the sight of the Lord. I pray for the same end to my life.
Favorite Home Design Colors
When we decorate a model home, we begin with the family in mind. We create the family who in our hearts and minds will live in the home, and we design the usage of space around the family’s needs. I love finding a different color palette for each home because all colors are beautiful, especially when paired with their perfect complements. In our personal home, we like our space to be inviting, soothing and relaxing, so we chose shades of ivory and tan. These colors bring warmth and softness to our home. We also have a few black accent pieces to provide a stark contrast. In the kitchen, we added shades of green to bring in life.
Favorite Personal Piece of Furniture
Rick and I have an antique dining room set that has been in Rick’s family for years. It was constructed of dark walnut in the 1800s and is ornately hand carved. The collection has a hutch, silver chest, buffet, table and eight chairs. The hand carvings on each piece tell the story of a bachelor’s journey to marriage. The first scene is the bachelor hanging out with his friends. In the second scene, he is playing his musical instrument for a woman. The following scenes consist of a proposal, wedding, reception, and, finally, the wedding dance. I love it because it belonged to my father-and mother-in-law, and because it is so unique. I appreciate the skills required to construct such a beautiful masterpiece.
