As a child on a sheep ranch in New Mexico, Ron wasn’t sure what type of career he wanted. But he did know one thing; he wanted to be in business. A job at Draughon’s Business College brought Ron to Lubbock in 1962, and soon after a friend asked Ron to partner with him on a construction project. The rest is history.
In addition to his real estate ventures, Ron enjoys volunteering his time with organizations that make a difference in the community. Year after year, he volunteers as a bell ringer for the Salvation Army’s red kettle fundraiser and spends time in fellowship with local teachers at the multiple Christmas luncheons sponsored by Betenbough Homes. A dedicated servant leader, Ron’s passion for giving represents the core of the company. Watch Betenbough Homes’ Believe video to learn how one dinner table conversation led to millions of dollars given away.
